Overview

Coffizo ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile coffee journal for tracking beans, brews, freshness and recipes. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Coffizo stores all of your content - coffees, brews, presets and settings - locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not operate a server-side database of this content and we do not intentionally transmit it to us or anyone else. The app does not require an account or login.

Advertising: the app currently contains no ads and does not collect or share any advertising identifiers. If advertising is introduced in a future version, ads will only be served after you are asked for consent where required, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads as described in their own privacy policy, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

Crash diagnostics: production releases may send technical error information to Sentry, such as device type, operating system and app versions, and a crash trace. We do not intentionally include your coffee-journal content or directly identifying information.

Network Use

Coffizo is offline-first. Some optional features use the network only when you choose to use them:

• AI label scanning - the on-device model is downloaded once from a public model host (Hugging Face). After download, scanning runs entirely on your device and your photos and labels are never uploaded.
• Bean import - importing from a link or barcode fetches public product information from the relevant source.
• Advertising - if ads are introduced in a future version, serving them will require a network connection.
• Feedback and bug reports - only when you write one from Settings. The message you type is delivered to the developer over Telegram, together with the app version, interface language and platform. Nothing else is sent and no journal content is included.

Third-Party Services

The app may use the following third-party services:

• Hugging Face (model download only) - Hugging Face Privacy Policy
• Google Play Billing (only when you view, buy or restore Coffizo Pro) - Google processes the purchase and provides Coffizo with product and ownership status. Coffizo does not receive payment-card details. See the Google Privacy Policy.
• Sentry (production crash diagnostics only) - technical error reports help us improve app stability. See the Sentry Privacy Policy.
• Telegram (only when you send feedback or a bug report) - it carries your message to the developer. See the Telegram Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Coffizo is intended for a general audience of coffee drinkers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or login.

Data Storage

All of your coffee data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all stored data. We do not maintain any server-side database of user content. You can export a backup file at any time and restore it later.

Your Rights

Since all of your content is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can edit or delete individual records, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app at any time to remove all stored information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
